Bridge Inspection Program Manager

The Markosky Engineering Group, Inc. is a Civil Engineering firm providing engineering and environmental services to public and private clients in the Mid-Atlantic region.  We are a diverse team of professionals, expert in our disciplines.  We have a comprehensive understanding of current environmental and engineering standards, and a commitment to sustainable design initiatives.

In our 20 years in business, we have built long-lasting and successful relationships with clients from offices in Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

We currently have an opening for a Bridge Inspection Program Manager for assignments in Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia. The successful candidate will be based in one of our offices (Ligonier, PA, Steubenville, OH or Charleston, WV) with occasional travel to each office required. Telecommuting will be accepted upon request.

The successful candidate will be called upon to assist Markosky’s Civil Engineering Services Division and Department Managers in preparing proposals, attending professional meetings and conferences, and direct client marketing.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (or approved equivalent);

– Professional Engineer (PE) required with eligibility for PA, OH, and WV reciprocity
– Certified Bridge Safety Inspector (CBSI) with 10 years of NBIS experience
– Candidate must also possess a current valid driver’s license and be able to pass a drug screening test.

– Ten (10) or more years’ experience;
– Knowledge of PennDOT, ODOT, or WVDOH NBIS policies and procedures;
– Thorough knowledge of support software including Microsoft Office;
– Preparation of NBIS Reports and Ratings preparation to client standards;
– Development of Fracture Critical Plans and Inspections
